About me…
Born and raised in rural Southeastern Ohio, I was a lifelong athlete. Football allowed me to earn a scholarship to Northwestern University, where I obtained two degrees. Unfortunately, my playing career was derailed by injuries, forcing me to confront an uncertain future. In this process of rediscovery, my passion for the visual arts - both still and moving imagery - was ignited.

Artistic philosophy…
Life along the Ohio River, in Appalachia instilled in me a straight forward philosophy: work hard, keep things simple, and be consistent. This philosophy largely influences my current work. Prominent to my artistic approach is capturing the moment with a controlled but energetic tone. At the forefront of my projects are often clarity of purpose and compelling stories of discovery.
